Super Gorilla®
Specifically Engineered for Extreme Operations
The Super Gorilla® XL self-elevating mobile offshore drilling unit is ideally suited for the most demanding operations in many harsh locations around the world including the Central North Sea of UK and Norway, as well as Eastern Canadian seaboard. Large spudcans allow for operations in different conditions, from rocky and hard soils to soft locations. Utilizing the LeTOURNEAU 1000-Kip Elevating Unit and the LeTOURNEAU STORM LOK® leg fixation system, the Super Gorilla® XL is capable of operating in water depths of up to 440 feet in ultra-harsh met-ocean conditions or 550 feet in moderate waters.

- Operational reach of well center to 30.5 m (100 ft) aft of stern
