Specifically Engineered for Exploratory and Development Drilling
The Super 116E self-elevating mobile offshore drilling unit provides the oil and gas industry with a proven versatile and cost-effective tool that supports up to 2.65 MM lbs of cantilevered drilling loads for exploratory and development drilling, as well as for work over operations in most moderate met-ocean regions of the world.
Special Features
- Utilizes the LeTOURNEAU 375-Kip in-line pinion elevating unit for operations in water depths of up to 375 feet.
- Cantilever with 1200 MT (2.65 MM lbs) maximum combined drilling load capacity
- Longitudinal reach of 21.3 m (70 ft) or greater
- Supports drilling with up to 1.5 MM lb hook load
- Liquid Mud capacity to 5,300 bbls
- Quarters accommodate up to 160 persons onboard
